How to Mark a Member as Deceased

What do you do when someone dies? You could delete their profile or mark their profile as deceased. It is usually better to do the latter because the member is still a member of your community. Your community expects their profile to pop up when they search for classmates and colleagues.

To mark someone as deceased, navigate to their profile and press "Mark Deceased."

Now they will show up as deceased when someone searches for them.

If you made a mistake, or clicked the "Mark Deceased" button by accident, you can always click "Mark Alive" to untag them.

If you want to see all the people that have been marked as deceased, you can search "is_deceased."
