Wavelength's multinetwork feature means that people can have more than one network. With more than one network, a user still has one profile. This is a huge asset. Your members can sign into other networks and update their information, and you will receive these updates as well.
It also makes Wavelength more enticing for users, because they can search all their networks at one time. Wavelength entices users back onto the platform with language that highlights this benefit (e.g. "in addition to your 1000 people in your network, you have a new network with 5,000...").
If you want to exclude this multinetwork messaging go to your Admin Dashboard > Privacy > Disable Multinetwork and toggle the setting on. Only your network will be referenced when onboarding new users.
